The Evangelical Hospital was founded in 1949 by Camino Global, known at the time as the Central American Mission. Its founding physician was missionary Dr. Marion McKinney. The hospital is located in the city of Siguatepeque, in the central region of Honduras. 

With more than 20 doctors and a large support staff, the vision and emphasis of Hospital Evangélico is "dedicated to God for the good of the Honduran people with the hope that every person would discover not only physical health, but also salvation of the soul by faith in Jesus Christ."
