Canada’s 2001 census statistics reveal that at least 100,000 Hispanics reside in the Toronto and Montreal areas alone. With an ever-growing Hispanic population in North America, foresight tells us that Canada is ripe as a mission field for Hispanic immigrants—we just need the harvesters to make this effort a reality.

The CAM International of Canada office was initially established to provide tax-deductible receipts for Canadian donors, but in recent years has also become key in mobilizing Canadian citizens to serve in a number of Camino fields. CAM Canada also focuses on leadership development and theological training in Cuba, primarily supporting Los Pinos Nuevos Seminary.

CAM Canada is an associate member of the Canadian Council of Christian Charities (www.cccc.org), an association of Christian organizations within Canada whose purpose is to minister to Christian charities and the public by integrating spiritual concerns of ministry with practical aspects of management, stewardship and accountability.
