Located in the city of Barcelona, Spain, IBSTE, (the Bible Institute and Theological Seminary of Spain), was founded in 1974 to provide biblical training for Christian youth and adults.

In 2007, the Chinese Seiminary of Taiwan integrated into the IBSTE campus, iniciating a new era of collaboration focused on serving Speanish speakers as well as the Chinese community. In 2011, IBSTE was acredited by the Spanish government agency ANECA.

Today, IBSTE is an international community comprised of more than 18 nationalities. This multinational collaboration is an integral part of the school's ministry preparation. Camino missionary Pedro Sanjaime serves as the Director of IBSTE.
